Eddy Kenzo, I didn’t love Phiona Nyamutoro for Money

Ugandan singer and CEO Big Talent Entertainment Edrisah Musuuza popularly known by stage name Eddy Kenzo has revealed to the general public that he did not initiate a relationship with Phiona Nyamutoro, the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals) for money.

This follows after a video trending on different social media platforms shows Eddy Kenzo saying that he only comes close to political leaders targeting money. While speaking to our news reporter, the president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) clarified that he meant making stage performances at any political rallies.

“I want to clarify on the trending video on social media. I did mean that I only come closer to politicians during rallies and here of course they have to pay me to perform. Additionally I am not a politician but a musician meaning I have to be paid for my services. I did not love Minister Phiona Nyamutoro for money because I fell in love with her when she was broke,” Eddy Kenzo said.

Hon. Nyamutoro introduced singer Eddy Kenzo to her parents in a highly secretive ceremony on Saturday 29th June 2024.
