Songstress and source management singer Hajara Namukwaya popularly known by stage name Spice Diana has finally sided with Swangz Avenue‘s singer Azawi to sting Eddy Kenzo’s Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF). This follows after the singer revealed that she quit the Federation after they had different agendas from what they first told them.
Azawi earlier on called out all artists including Eddy Kenzo for not rallying their fans across their social media platforms to join various protest campaigns against corruption and other human rights violations in the country. Additonally, the Swangz Avenue singer revealed that most the Ugandan artists go silent and never come out to put a voice to forms of injustices in the country.
Azawi notes that these same artists always want the appressed Ugandans to come out in big numbers to support them during their concerts but they never speak about the pressing issues about their fans.
Now singer Spice Diana has come out and revealed that she is not part of Eddy Kenzo’s Musicians Federation. This is because they (Federation) have different personal agendas instead of putting in place systems that will help all artists. Additionally, she sided with Azawi’s submission noting that many artists never come out to speak about the injustices in the communities where their fans stay.
